This guide is for your organization's IT administrator. It covers preparing your Salesforce environment to receive AviaryAI call records, then creating a Connected App and authorizing the connection.

Overview

Connecting Salesforce to AviaryAI has two parts:

Prepare Salesforce — your Salesforce admin creates a place for Aviary's call data to land: a dedicated Task record type, the fields Aviary writes, and a few configuration settings that keep records from being rejected.

Connect the accounts — your IT team then:

  1. Creates a Connected App in Salesforce
  2. Copies the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
  3. Enters those credentials in AviaryAI
  4. Authorizes the connection via OAuth

Once both parts are done, AviaryAI automatically logs each voice agent call as a Task record on the matching Salesforce Contact.
